Instructions

Preheat Oven

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Prepare the Pan

Line a baking pan with foil, leaving enough overhang to fold and seal later.

Prepare the Ingredients

Slice the potatoes into 1/8-inch slices and place into the foiled pan. Cut the sausage in half lengthwise.

Assemble the Dish

Place the sausage over the potatoes. Sprinkle chopped onions and shredded cheese over the top.

Prepare the Liquid

In a small bowl, mix the milk with instant beef broth, dill weed, black pepper, and caraway seeds.

Combine and Seal

Pour the mixture evenly over the sausage and potatoes. Fold the foil over and seal tightly.

Bake

Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes until potatoes are tender.

Serve

Carefully open the foil and serve hot.
