Recipe Details

This is was such an easy recipe, and sooo tasty. My favorite kinds of foods are ones you can turn into anything, and sausage is one of the most versatile proteins out there! Start by dicing one onion and half of your Karl Ehmer Double Smoked Bacon, and sauté them over medium high heat seasoning with salt and pepper until onion is soft and bacon is crispy. Preheat your oven to 350 and microwave your Karl Ehmer Krainerwurst for one minute to soften the casing and allow easy removal. Slice the casing open and empty contents into your mixing bowl.

Crack one egg in, add 1/2 cup bread crumb, 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper, 2 tbs parsley, and the sautéed onion and bacon mix (after allowing this to cool down first!!). Mix all of this together until well combined.

Over a lightly flowered surface, cut pastry and roll into rolls. Using Egg wash to seal the roll and placing crease side down before coving the rolls in egg wash.

Bake for 15 minutes and enjoy! (CAREFUL: They will be hot !!)
